Other File Conversions

You can batch convert DWG files with the following functions:
  • File > Export > Batch export dwg/dxf
  • File > import > Batch import dwg/dxf

You can also select following file conversions, which require add-on options of the software:

  • IFC Converter

    If the IFC Converter add-on option is available to you, you can select file conversion with the File > Export > IFC Export function.

    You can import an IFC model into Vertex as a reference geometry or as an object model.

  • Staad Pro

    If the Staad Pro Link add-on option is available to you, you can select file conversion with the File > Export > Staad Pro Export function when a building is active. The function will output the profiles included in the model into an STD file, which can be read with the STAAD software or some other structural calculation software.
