Select the conditions for optional wall types in the Option Conditions for Walls dialog box.
Dialog Box Options
- Option condition
- Select the options to which the selected wall type will be applied.
- Find the option code from the Options database by clicking the Select button. The
Building Options database view opens. Move the cursor on the desired row and click the OK button.
The Building Options Database View
- You can use three operators to define conditions for the selected wall type:
- And - For example A and B. The wall type will only apply if both options A and B are selected when you
solve the options.
- Or - For example A or B. The wall type will only apply if option A or option B is selected when you
solve the options.
- Not - For example A and not B. Note the syntax “and not”. The wall type will only apply if option A is
selected and option B is not selected when you solve the options.
- Select one of the radio buttons, if necessary, and then select another option from the Options database. The
logical operations are performed in the following order: first the Not operation, then
the And operations and finally the Or operations.
- New
- Click the button to define another optional wall type. The fields in the dialog box will be cleared, and you
can select another options, conditions between options and the wall type to be used. The conditions will be
added to the Condition list.
- Delete
- To delete a condition, select the condition from the Condition list, and click the
Del button.
- Wall Data: Type
- Select the wall type to be used when the option conditions come true. Select the wall type from the
list.
- Frame bottom offset
- If necessary, you can stretch the bottom of the wall frame of the wall type you selected. Type the offset in
relation to the original wall structure in the text field.
Stretching of the wall frame requires that the
property Framing bottom option has been selected for the frame volume of the selected
wall type, see General Wall 3D Volume
Properties. The property may have been defined for the wall type in the wall library, but you can
also edit the property of the wall layer, if necessary.

- Siding bottom offset
- If necessary, you can stretch the bottom of the siding of the wall type you selected. Type the offset in
relation to the original wall structure in the text field.

Siding bottom option has been selected for the siding volume of the selected wall
type, see General Wall 3D Volume

- Leader Line
- The location of the wall in relation to the original wall is determined by a reference line. The line
selected as the reference line of the new wall type is positioned in the same location as the respective line
in the original wall. Select the reference line from the list.
