Option System - Add an Automatic Dimension Point
Option System
You can add dimension point macros to the components of an option in the following way:
- Select Options | Option Boxes |  New New   Add Automatic Dimension Point. Add Automatic Dimension Point.The cursor symbol shows the direction to which the dimension line will be added.  Right side of building.  Front of building.  Left side of building.  Back of the building. 
- If necessary, rotate the symbol until the arrow points to the desired direction. Rotate the symbol in one of
        the following ways:- Press the PageUp or PageDown key.
- Click the buttons in the auxiliary menu: Rotate 90 Degrees Counter-clockwise Rotate 90 Degrees Counter-clockwise
 Rotate 180 Degrees Counter-clockwise Rotate 180 Degrees Counter-clockwise
 Rotate 90 Degrees Clockwise Rotate 90 Degrees Clockwise
 Rotate 180 Degrees Clockwise Rotate 180 Degrees Clockwise
 
 
- When you wish to define a dimension line group, select the auxiliary function  Edit Parameters, and select the group properties in the Auto Dimension Point dialog box.           line group, you do not need to define the properties. If you only wish to add a single default dimension

- Select the locations of the dimension point macros.
- When you wish to define a new dimension line group, reselect the  Edit Parameters function. Edit Parameters function.
- Quit by pressing the Esc key.
- Connect the dimension point macros to an option with the Options | Option Boxes |

Note: 
      
  - The object type of a dimension point macro is Building Components.
- The object type of a dimension line group generated during option solving is Groups of Geometry.
