Setting the Default Template Building

When you are using several template buildings, you can set one of them as the default, when you create a new building based on a template building. The default template building is defined in the system settings.

  1. Select File > Preferences Edit. The Vertex Settings dialog box is opened.
  2. Add the following keywords to the "Bdsxx/New building dialog parameters" keyword group:
    • enable_user_template

      Enter 1 as the keyword value. You can then set the default template building with the keyword default_user_template.

      When the keyword value is 0, the default template building is not available.

    • default_user_template

      Enter the id of the template building as the keyword value, for example TEMPL-WDFRAME.

  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
  4. Restart Vertex.
