Detail View
Create a detail view of the elements of a designed drawing, based on the area defined by a rectangle or circle. Define the detail view label text and scale in a dialog box.
- On the  tab, in the Tools group, click tab, in the Tools group, click Projection, and select one of the following: Projection, and select one of the following: Detail View - Click the center point and corner point of the rectangle. Detail View - Click the center point and corner point of the rectangle.
 Detail View (Circular) - Click the center point and circumference point of a circle. Detail View (Circular) - Click the center point and circumference point of a circle.
 Detail View (Corners) - Click the lower left corner and top right corner of the rectangle. Detail View (Corners) - Click the lower left corner and top right corner of the rectangle.
 
- Edit the elements selected inside the detail view boundaries. - Add an element to the area by selecting it. The selected element is highlighted in a different color.
- Remove element selection from the area by selecting it.
 
- Select Confirm.
- Define the detail magnification properties in the dialog box.  Detail View Data Detail View Data
- Select OK.
- Click a position for the detail view in the drawing.
Note: 
  - A detail view cannot be created for a 2D component.
- If there are drawn 2D elements in a model drawing, you can create a detail view of them.
- Change the scale and location of the detail view by double-clicking inside the detail view near the boundary.
- Show and hide the detail view boundaries:- Select .
- Select the View tab.
- Select or clear Show detail view limits.
