Delete Views

Delete one or more views of a building in the document browser.

Note: The function removes both the view definition, the label from the floor plan, and the view drawing file from the view_dwgs folder of the building. If the view has been added as a reference drawing to a drawing sheet, you will receive an error message when you open the sheet.
  1. Open the Architectural Documents branch in the document browser.
  2. Open one of the following branches:
    • Elevations
    • Sections
    • Horizontal sections
    • Interior views
    • Perspective views
  3. Select the view. You can select several views in the following ways:
    • Select the individual views by holding down the Ctrl key.
    • Select a set of views:
      1. Click the first view.
      2. Press the Shift key, and click the last view of the set.
  4. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  5. Select Delete. The program will ask for confirmation before deleting the selected views.
Note: When you delete a view label in the floor plan, the view definition is also deleted, but the drawing file remains in the view_dwgs folder of the building. You can delete the drawing file by selecting the function Delete Undefined Views.
