Site Property Data
IFC Converter
The property data of a site is information about the construction site that is stored in the IFC model. The information is needed in the building permit process. Some of the site data is defined in the building data card. In addition, you can define property data in the document browser:
- Open the
Settings branch of the document browser. - Double-click
Site data. The "Site data” dialog box opens. - Define the property data:
- Add a single property by selecting Add property from the right-click menu, and complete the property name and value.
- You can copy a set of properties and their values from an Excel table and paste them into the dialog box by selecting Paste properties from the right-click menu. In the Excel table, the properties and values must be in their own columns. You can copy and paste just the property column, or both the property and value columns.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
Site data can be stored in the IFC property sets.
You can add IFC property sets for the site as follows:
- Select IFC | IFC property sets |
Site. The “Select property sets to use” dialog box opens. - Select the property sets in the dialog box and click OK.
