Set a Label for the Building

Vertex Sync

Labels allow you to classify and filter buildings. It is possible to create the organization's own labels in the Sync service. A label can be set for a building in the Sync service or in the Vertex BD building browser. You can filter buildings with labels in the building browser, making it easier to manage large volumes of buildings.

Set a label in the building browser:

  1. Select File > Open building.
  2. Select the building in the browser. Select multiple buildings by holding down the Ctrl key, or select a set of buildings:
    1. Click the first building.
    2. Press the Shift key, and click the last building of the set.
  3. Right-click and select Set labels. The “Select Sync labels” dialog box opens. The labels are read from the Sync service.
  4. Select the checkbox for the desired label. If you selected multiple buildings, the buildings may have different labels.
    • - The label is set for all selected buildings.
    • - No label has been set for any of the selected buildings.
    • - The label is set for some of the selected buildings.
  5. Confirm by clicking OK.

You can restrict the buildings displayed in the browser pane by using the column filtering feature. Click the button in the filter row of the Label column and select a label from the list.
