Define Data for New Drawing

Define the data for a new drawing in the dialog box.

Dialog Box Options

Drawing number
Defines the drawing number of the drawing. Name the drawing without file extension or click Get.
Select the document type: Main Document, Sub Document, and select OK.
The automatic numbering of a drawing requires always customer fitting.
Name a Drawing
Sheet number
When you enter the drawing number, the sheet number is automatically numbered if the No Sheet option is selected. You can also type the sheet number in the field.
No sheet
If No sheet is selected, drawing sheet is not created. Otherwise the sheet is automatically numbered in numerical order.
Flow connection
This is a Flow option.
Add to archive
Defines the selected archive as the document's saving location, otherwise it is saved into the common document folder under a file name. The drawing will be saved in the archive if the checkbox is selected.
Select Add to archive and the drawing is saved by the file name. Enter a name of the drawing in the Drawing number field without file extension. Saving path of the drawing is a common document folder Shared/picts, or project folder Shared/projects/proj_id if you select the project.
Drw Card
Click the button and and enter the preliminary archives data for the drawing. This function is available when you are creating a drawing in the archive. Fill in the data in the archives card.
Sht Card
Click the button and and enter the preliminary archives data for the sheet. This function is available when you are creating a sheet in the archive. Fill in the data in the archives card.
To project
Select To project when you are creating a document to a specific project. Open an existing project by clicking the Browse button, or create a new project by clicking the New button.
New Project
If the document do not belong to any project, clear the To project.
Location
Shows the drawing's directory path in the directory tree, in accordance with the data you specified for the drawing.
Predefined drawing limits and scale:
Select the setting from the drop-down menu.
