Selecting from a List

Depending on the selected function you can select only one, several or all entries from the list using the following functions.

Window Selections

All
If you wish to select all entries on the list, click the All button.
Selecting individually or as a range
Make the selection as follows:
  • Select one item from the list by clicking with the left mouse button.
  • Select more than one by holding down Ctrl while clicking with the left mouse button.
  • Select the desired range from the list by holding down Shift and clicking the start and end of the range with the left mouse button.
  • Remove the selection by selecting it again.
Search (F3)
Enter a search string in the field and click the button or press the F3 key. The list is searched for a character string containing the search string exactly as it was entered. The search is case-sensitive.
If the string cannot be found from the list, the search string you entered will be highlighted in red.
You can also find a row from the list by selecting the row from which you wish to start the search. Enter the first letter of the search string in the field, and the row containing the specified character will be highlighted on the list.
Quick Search
You can also search for character strings by entering the search string in the field one character at a time, the search result being highlighted on the list as the string you type is found from the list. The search is case-sensitive.
This search method is available when the check box Quick Search is selected.
