Text Label

You can select text properties to the label to be added. You can type the label or select the label from the list.

Before selecting a position of the label, you can change the location point or set the label in the direction of an angle.

  1. Select Labels And References> Text Label.
  2. Select the text properties of the label.
  3. If necessary, select auxiliary functions.

  4. The points of the text label will be displayed if you select the Mark IO points function.
  5. Specify text label point of the symbol.
  6. Select the label from the list, or type the label in the dialog box and select OK.
  7. If necessary, change the location point of the label or set the label in the direction of an angle.

  8. Click the position of the label.
  9. Do either of the followings.
    • Select Confirm.
    • Click another label position.

Note

  • When adding a text label the cursor snaps to the text point of the symbol in the cursor-snap area. The point is marked with grey color when you move the cursor near to the symbol. If you move the cursor near to the handle, its color turns yellow, and you can click the point.
  • In addition to ordinary text, it can also be a link to another drawing in the text label. When the label is selected, the function Open Link can be selected from the context-sensitive menu similarly to text. This function can only be used under the label contains a link. Otherwise, it is displayed in grey.
