Item Data

You can define item data to a new item, and when opening an item.

After you select a function, a two-page Vertex database view opens, allowing you to define the data of an archive item or a purchased item.

Page - Archive Item Data

Fill in data in the fields.

Code
Item label.
If the label field is empty, the assembly structure data will not be presented in the main assembly parts list, which is generated by collecting the entire structure (roll-out).
When opening an item, you can click the In use? button. The program will display a list of items in which the item in question is used.
Item Structure
You can add the item structure.
  1. Click the Item Structure button.
  2. Select Edit> Add Row.
  3. Number the part.
  4. Select a part/structure in the Label field by clicking. You can click the button to open the classes matching the field value, or all classes, if the field is empty.
  5. Save the data by pressing the F2 key.
You can also view the item structure.
Description, Shape, Dimensions, Unit, Standard
Select the contents of the Description field or fill it in.
Drawing, Model Labels
If you enter the label for an archived model in the field and click the Open button, the model will open in the working window for viewing.
Weight, Weighted
Enter the weight of the new item. The weighed weight of the product will be displayed when the Weighed checkbox is selected and the field has a value.
Area, Factor
This field will display the result of the area calculation when you click the Calculate button.

Purchasing Method
Choose a purchasing method.
Stored/Spare Part
Defines stored or spare part as the item data.
Classification
The class defines an item's classification.
You can click the   button to open the classes matching the field value, or all classes, if the field is empty.
Main Group
The main class of product classification.
Sub Group
The subclass of product classification.

Page - Purchased Item Data

In addition to some of the abovementioned data, you need to define the following data for a purchased item.

  • Description
  • Shape, Dimensions
  • Supplier
  • Price
  • Standard
  • Material
  • Density
