Data Displayed in the Tree

You can define the data to be displayed in the assembly tree in this dialog box.

Default
When this checkbox is selected, the default view is used, displaying model labels as the information in the tree.
Fields
You can select which information is displayed in the assembly tree when the Default checkbox is unselected. The list includes the names of all fields of the item database used in the software supplier's default environment, or the names of the fields of a database built as a customer fitting.
The selection order of the fields determines the order in which the information is displayed in the tree. The contents of the field selected first from the list are displayed first after the model symbol, etc. You can select a maximum of ten (10) fields.
The maximum length of information per model displayed in the tree is 70 characters. If the field is empty in the database, the model label is displayed in the tree following the symbol.
Item data of a part or an assembly is picked into the assembly tree according to which fields are selected from the list.
Save
When you select database fields from the list, save the selection by clicking the Save button.
OK
Click this button to accept the selections in the dialog box. At this point, the display method of the assembly tree changes to match the new definitions.
