Create a Pattern When Adding a Model

You can create a part pattern when you are adding a part to an assembly. Create a pattern as follows:

  1. Add a Model to an Assembly.
  2. Select the auxiliary function Create pattern.
  3. Fill in the data in the Assembly Pattern Data dialog box.
  4. Select OK.
  5. You can see the pattern preview at the cursor. If you wish to edit the pattern, select the auxiliary function again.
  6. Select the pattern's position in the assembly.
