Mirror in a Model Sketch

You can mirror the selected line around the symmetry axis. The line will be copied in mirroring. Any geometric constraints defined for the lines will not be copied in mirroring.

The symmetry axis can be the axis of the sketching coordinate system, a line selected to be mirrored, or another polyline.

You can select mirroring after selecting the lines to be mirrored. The mirroring will add a symmetrical constraint to the original line and the mirrored line. Other constraints will not be copied.

All the lines in the polyline have been selected for mirroring. Mirror the lines around the symmetry axis.

Mirror lines as follows:

  1. Select one or more lines to be mirrored.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Mirror.
  3. Select the symmetry axis.
  4. Select Confirm.

Select all the lines in the polyline except the line that you select as the symmetry axis. If you select a line that you have selected for mirroring as the symmetry axis, the program will not mirror the line in question.

Note:
  • Select on the toolbar Mirror and select a single or several lines.
