Selecting Location and Direction in IFC Import/Export
- IFC import
- When opening an IFC file, a dialog box opens, from which you can select location-related settings:
- The origin to the same point as in the IFC file.
- Locates to a point of the IFC file.
- By default, the minimum point of the extreme limits of the IFC model in the xy direction is searched for as a freely editable point.
- Rotate to north direction.
- The default direction is the north direction written in the IFC file.
- The direction can be rotated by entering the angle of rotation.
- IFC export
- There are two ways to add coordinates for the IFC file:
- From the context-sensitive Other Functions Geographical coordinates.
- In the export dialog box, select a point of the IFC file using the origin of the model and give the direction.
