Change Similar Profile Joints
When you use the dimension table to edit a profile joint added to an assembly, and there are other similar profile joints in the same assembly, you can apply the changes to all joints at once with the dimension table setting Set for all similar. If this setting is enabled, when you exit the dimension table by selecting OK, the values are also set for other similar profile joints in the same assembly. In addition to the same assembly, the feature also searches for similar profile joints in local subassemblies.
- Select the assembly of a previously added profile joint in the model. When selecting via the feature tree, the title of the profile joint assembly is selected. Alternatively, you can select the entire profile joint in the model by clicking on any part of the joint while holding down the Alt key.
- Right-click and select Dimension table from the context-sensitive menu.
- When you change the dimension table values or component selections and want to change all similar connections at once, select the Set for all similar option.
Note: The same dimension table setting is used for all components added locally to the assembly for which the program offers the Dimension table function. Such components include, for example, adaptive components (SmartSnap).
