New Size to the Door Library

You can add new sizes to the software supplier’s standard door library by editing the properties of a door in the library and saving the new size in the door library.

  1. Click the wall.
  2. Select Wall | Door. The library browser opens.
  3. Select a door.
  4. Edit the door dimensions. The fields Label and Code are updated automatically.
  5. Click the Save button.

    The program will save the changes made to the library in a customer-specific database. If the database is not found in the Custom folder, it is first copied from the System folder.

  6. Confirm by clicking OK.
  7. Do either of the following:
    • Continue adding the door, see Add a Door.
    • Quit by pressing the Esc key.
Note:
  • The thumbnail image of the component in the browser is not updated automatically. You can update the thumbnail image by editing the library. Select LOAD3D for the component from the Thumbnail ID list, and click the Browser Upd button.
  • You can add a new size alternative for a component in the library also by editing the library. Copy the row of an existing component, and change the contents of required fields.
