Save a Raster into TIFF Format

Save a raster image, or the entire drawing window as a TIFF format raster.

1. Select Drawing | Tools | Raster Images > Save Raster Image or Drawing as TIF File.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Click the raster to be saved in the drawing.
   • Save the entire drawing by selecting Confirm.
3. Select the folder, in which you want to save the raster, and enter a name for the file.
4. Click Save.
5. Define the resolution (dpi).
6. Select either Black and White or Colored as the file type.
7. Select the compression method.
   • If you select Black&White, you can specify the compression algorithm by entering number 2 (Huffman), 3 (G3), 4 (G4), or 5 (PB). If you do not wish to compress the raster, the raster is saved when you enter 1 in the field.
   • If you select Full-color, you cannot select a compression algorithm for the raster. The raster is saved, when you enter 1 in the field.
   • If you enter 0 in the field, the raster is not saved.
