Updating Details from the DesignStream System

You can update building details from the DesignStream system when you open the building and are logged into the DesignStream system. Each detail is updated to the latest approved version saved in the DesignStream system.

When opening the building, the program asks: "Do you want to update details to latest version in current building?" Select either of the following:

• Yes - All building drawings are checked for details. If a detail is found, the program checks whether the DesignStream system contains a newer, approved version of the detail. If a newer version exists, it is updated in the building.
• No - Building details are not checked nor updated.

You can also update the details when creating a new building. A new building is based either on a template building or an existing building, and they can contain details which have newer versions in the DesignStream system.
