Hiding the geometry behind or inside a model lightens the model.
Hiding geometry behind the model
You can use this function to hide the volumes (parts) that are not visible from the viewing direction.
- Set the model into the desired projection.
- Select View | Limiting | Hide Behind.
Hiding geometry inside the model
You can use this function to hide geometry from a model when the model is viewed from several directions, i.e. as many as 10-20 directions. Geometry inside the model when viewed from these directions will be hidden. Note that some geometry will be left inside the model.
- Set the model into the desired projection.
- Select View | Limiting | Hide Inside.
Note:
- Restore the entire model's visibility by selecting Restore Hidden from the context-sensitive menu.
