Open a Library for Editing

These instructions apply to component libraries that have their own interface for editing the library and selecting a component.

You can only edit customer-specific libraries.

  1. Select one of the following from the System tab:
    • System | Libraries | Walls
    • System | Libraries | Floor Roof
    • System | Templates | Panel Drawings > Panel Template Drawings
    • System | Templates | Labels
    • System | Templates | Excel Lists
    • System | Structural Libraries | Trusses
  2. Edit the library in the dialog box.
  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
  • You can also open the library for editing from the library browser:
    1. Select System | Libraries | Libraries.
    2. Select a library in the Custom Libraries folder.
    3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
    4. Select Edit Library.
  • System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
