0002 I Beam Connection

  1. Select Modeling | Connection | Joint Profiles Connection Details.
  2. Select the folder Notch / I-beam in the browser.
  3. Select 0002 I-beam connection.
  4. Select the notch parameters in the I Beam Connection dialog box:
    • Max notch depth (d1)
    • Notch depth + (d2)
    • Notch height + (h2)
  5. Confirm by clicking OK.
  6. Select the I-beam (A).
  7. Select the profile ends (B). Select the profiles one by one or use area selection.
  8. Select Confirm.
