Copying Text to Lines (2D)

Text can be copied to ordinary lines. If you can select the edge lines limiting the area, it is possible to fill it with a texture.

When copying text to lines, the program copies the selected text to a group and changes it to lines. Also the lines connected to the texts, like reference line or text underline is also included in the group. When positioning the group in the drawing, you can use the normal group positioning auxiliary functions.

Copy Text to Lines

1. Select Drafting | Text > Text to lines.
2. Select a text. The program creates a line group and prompts the user to select a position for it.
3. Click the location for the group.
4. Select Confirm.
