Selecting an Element in a Drawing

In the working window, you can select an element, which can be a line, hatch, text, group or symbol, for example. You can perform a function on the selected element. After selecting the element, select the function. For example, before selecting the Delete function, select the element you want to delete.

Use the functions on the toolbar in the opposite way. First select the function, after which the program will prompt you to select an element.

When you select an element, the program will indicate the selection as follows:

  • The color of the selected element changes.
  • The properties of the selected element can be viewed by selecting the Properties function.
  • The context-sensitive menu will display those functions that can be performed on the selected element.

Note

  • You can limit which elements will be selected by using element types.
