You can change the settings in the menu:

Tab: Cursor

Type
Sets the cursor type as normal (default), large cross hair or coordinate axes cursor. You can also select the cursor type by using a keyboard command.
Different Cursors
Resolution
You can define the resolution of the cursor in the working window. Select an appropriate value from the list.
Dimensioning precision
Sets the dimension precision in the working window. Select an appropriate value from the list.
Search area % of cursor size
Sets the cursor snap area in relation to the cursor's size. The snap area will be positioned around the cursor. The value 50% indicates that there is a snap area around the cursor of half the cursor size.
Automatic point snapping
Sets automatic snapping to points. Select the Always option if you want automatic snapping to points to be used.
Select additionally the following:
  • Snap to points in reference drawings and models. The cursor also snaps automatically to points of reference drawing and reference model. A reference drawing is a projection of the model's drawing that is associated with the model.
  • Snap to Grid Points. The cursor automatically snaps to grid points as well.
Temporarily, you can prevent the cursor from automatic snapping to points by pressing the Alt key, when drawing a line, for example.
To disable automatic snapping, select Off. The Only in wire frame option uses automatic snapping to points only when the model is displayed as a wire frame model.
Automatic snap to grid points will be enabled by default after the application has been launched, if the keyword set.gridsnap.on= 1 has been defined in the user/Setup setup file. If you still wish to use the angle bracket (< or >) key to snap to grid points, set the keyword value to 0.
Mark entities before selecting
Sets highlighting elements before selection. When this function is enabled (default), a line element in the cursor-snap area, for example, is highlighted in color. If highlighting is not used, the element will not be marked in any way.
