Change the Reference Point

You can change the position of the reference point of a sketch, profile cross section or a part by selecting a new one before selecting the position. The element will be opened in a separate window for selecting the new reference point.

  1. Do either of the following:
    • Click the following button:

    • Press the F8 key.
  2. Select the new insertion point.
Note:
  • Pipe component - In question of adding of a pipe component, it is added from its handle by default. If necessary, you can click a new point relative to which you position the component.

    Do as follows:

    1. Click the button.

    2. Click the point from the pipe component.
