Functions When Starting the Software

When starting the software, a dialog box opens, in which you can select functions to create or open a file.

By default, the file functions dialog box will be displayed when starting up.

  1. Select one of the following in the Vertex dialog box:
    • Create New Document
    • Open
      • Item
      • Model
      • Drawing
      • File

      Open an archived file in the working window.

    • Recently opened

      Open a document from the list of last-opned files by double-clicking the document.

  2. Select OK.
Note:
  • Item is a property of Vertex Flow (Option). The option Document is missing in the dialog box.
  • You can prevent opening of the dialog box. When starting the software, select Do not show this dialog at next startup.
  • You can enable the dialog box again as follows:

    1. Select > User Preferences Drawings, Models.

    2. Select the Usage tab.

    3. Select or clear Common: Welcome Dialog.
