Mechanical Engineering Settings

Edit the properties of mechanical engineering. Define the default value for the density used in inertia calculations and the default material used in Visualization.

1. Select > System Preferences > Mechanical Engineering.

2. The function opens the 2 page dialog box.

3. Define the following settings on the dialog box tabs:
   • Draft - Edit Draft properties. Select the element type in the list and select Edit. Define the dimension and text leader lines: Line width, and Line color.
   • Mechanical Engineering - Edit Mechanical Engineering properties: Density, Mass Calculation Unit, Area Calculation Unit, LightWorks Material Name STEEL, for example.
4. Select OK.
