Scale a Part

  1. On the tab, in the Tools group, click Scale.

    The Scale dialog box is opened.

  2. Do either of the following:
    • Scale in an even ratio. Select Lock Ratio. Enter the scaling factor, and the Formula field value to the first row.
    • Scale Freely. Select Lock Ratio. Enter the scaling factor and formula in the X, Y and Z axis directions.
  3. Preview by clicking the Apply button. If necessary, you can still edit the feature data.

In Context-sensitive Menu

  1. Select the part.
  2. Select the context-sensitive function Scale.
  3. Do either of the following:
  4. Click OK.
Note:
  • Scale the geometry of a part. You can scale parts that you have modeled yourself and geometries that you have imported into Vertex.
  • Edit the feature Scale with the context-sensitive feature tree function Edit Feature.
