Restore Hidden Objects
You can restore either the last hidden objects, any objects other than the last hidden and still selected ones, or all hidden objects.
Restore Previously Hidden Objects
- First, press Esc to clear all selections.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu and select Restore Previous.
Select the function repeatedly to restore several previous hides.
Note: Restoring last hidden objects does not work for objects that were hidden with the function Hide Others.
Restore Objects Other than Those Selected
Sometimes you need to hide other objects around the objects you want to hide before you can select them to hide. You can restore objects other than the last hidden and still selected ones by doing the following:
- Hide objects until you can select the objects that you want to hide eventually.
- Select the objects to be hidden.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Hide. The objects are hidden, but still selected.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Restore Others.
Note: When you hide objects by pressing the H key, the objects do not remain selected and the Restore Others function is not available.
Restore All Hidden Objects
Restore all hidden objects to view.
- First, press Esc to clear all selections.
- Do either of the following:
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Restore Hidden.
- Press Shift+Ctrl+H.
Note: If all hidden objects are not restored in the model, select the objects in the drawing and restore their geometry in the model by using the function Updating Geometry.
