Remove Hidden Lines

The removal of the hidden lines of a model means that lines and parts of lines that are covered behind opaque surfaces in the viewing direction are not drawn.

Remove hidden lines by selecting Rendering | Render Style | Wire Frame > Hidden Lines, or by using the Ctrl+H keyboard command. The model is displayed as a wireframe model with removed hidden lines. The presentation method selected last will be restored, when you change the model view.

In a drawing, removing hidden lines will affect a textured area containing a text or a dimension with a hide feature. After hidden lines are removed, the text/dimension will cover the texture.

• Remove hidden lines in the drawing and update the text macros by pressing Shift+F5.
