Edit the Sheet Properties
Framer, Floor Framing & Rafters
You can change the way a sheet is displayed in the 2D drawing and 3D model. You can select the properties in a dialog box. When you close the dialog box by clicking OK, the changes will be refreshed in the drawing and the model.
- Select the sheets to be edited.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Properties.
- Select the properties in the Sheet Properties dialog box.
- Material Code
- Select from the list. The available options are loaded from the sheathing database d_SHEETLIB. The materials in the sheathing database need to be defined in the d_LBMAT database.
- Sheet code
- After selecting the material code, you can select the sheet code from the Sheet code list. The sheet code determines the sheet size and other properties.
- Thickness
- Select the sheet thickness. The default thickness is determined by the thickness of the sheathing layer, and is displayed in the grey text field. If you wish to define another thickness for the sheet, select the radiobutton in front of the empty text field, and type the desired value in the text field.
- Layer
- If you wish to add the sheet's 2D geometry on a layer other than the default layer, select the checkbox Layer, and type a layer number in the text field.
- 2D instance
- When the 2D instance check box is selected, the geometry of the sheet will be displayed in the 2D drawing.
- Crossed
- When the Crossed check box is selected, the diagonals of the sheet will be displayed in the 2D drawing.
- Cross Section
- This feature is not available for a sheathing in a horizontal structure.
- Installation
- You can define a Mounting property for the sheets of a panel. Select Loose part or Manual from the list. For example, a loose piece is a piece to be mounted at the building site, a manual piece is a piece to be mounted manually in the factory. The property affects the material collection.
- Manuf. Order
- Sheet's order number for production. The sheet can be a part of a sheathing area or a panel.
- Group ID
- The sheets of an area or panel form an order group. The label of an order group is either the label of the panel or, in the case of a sheathing area, a label defined by the user.
