Double a Joist

This function can be used to duplicate the selected framing pieces.

1. Select the beam.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Select Profile | Structure | Double Joist.
   • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Double Joist.
3. Select the duplication options:
   • Mirror - A mirrored copy is placed next to the beam.
   • Center - The beam and its copy are positioned in such a way that the center point of the group formed by them is the same as the center point of the original piece. When centering is not enabled, the original piece remains in place and the copy is positioned next to it.
   • Direction of Profile - The direction of the beam is relevant when making several copies of an asymmetric cross section next to each other.
   • Tolerance - The gap that is left between the beam and the copy. Enter the tolerance in the text box.
4. Select the beam. Select several beams with the Ctrl key pressed down.
5. Select Confirm.
6. Select the side on which you wish to position the copy.
