Open a Truss Drawing

You can open a truss drawing to a separate drawing window either by selecting a truss in the floor plan, or by double-clicking a truss label in the project document browser. A truss drawing is generated for the first time by using the Generate Truss Drawings function.
- Select one or more trusses with a label.
- Do one of the following:
- Select Truss | Panel | Open Drawing.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Open Panel Drawing.
You can recognize an edited truss from the asterisk (*) at the end of the truss label in the layout drawing.
Open a Truss Drawing from the Project Document Browser
- Open the branch Structural drawings / Trusses.
- Double-click a truss label.
Note
- You can check the status of the project’s truss drawings, and create, update or open the drawings by using the function Check Panel Drawing Status, if necessary.
- The truss projection in the truss drawing is a part enlargement. You can show or hide the limits of the part enlargement area as follows:
- Select > Preferences Drawings, Models.
- Select the View tab.
- Select or clear Drawing: Show Detail View Limits.
