Keep a Project Reserved in the DesignStream System

DesignStream Interface

You can close a project in such a manner that it still remains reserved for your username. The project stays in the local project archive, from which you can reopen it for editing. Other users cannot check out the project from the server.

  1. Save the project in either of the following ways:
    • Select > Save Project.
    • Press Ctrl+S.
  2. Select > Close Project. The Close Project dialog box opens.
  3. Select the Keep project reserved from DesignStream radio button.
  4. Click the Close button.

Note

  • The project is saved in the local project archive. When you open the project, you need to select, for example, saving location PROJECTS or BLDG_GROUPS for building group projects.
