Project Data Card
The project data card features are customer-specific. The following describes the data card included in the basic software delivery.
Page Project Data
- Project id
- The id selected when the project was created is displayed in the text field.
- Project name
- The name selected when the project was created is displayed in the text field.
- Created
- The creation date of the project is displayed in the text field. If necessary, you can update the date with the current one by clicking the Update button. You can also edit the date by entering a new date.
- Saved in
- The saving location selected for the project is displayed in this text field. You cannot change the saving location in the data card. If you want to change the saving location, see Change the Saving Location of a Project.
- Project template
- You can define a project as a project template by selecting 1 from the list. You can then select the project as the basis for a new project, if the Template radio button is selected in the dialog box of the new project.
- Customer data
- Fill in the customer data in the text fields.
- Building site information
- Fill in the information in the text fields. This information is used in, for example, drawing labels.
- Description
- Type a description of the project in the field. The description text is displayed in the dialog box in which you can select a project to be opened or deleted. You can type a more detailed description of the project in a separate text file, which you can open by clicking the Extra info button. The text file is saved in the project folder. The text file can be saved as the project's meta data when you check-in the project to the DesignStream system.
Page Building Data
- House details, size details, extra details
- The house details can be saved as the project's meta data when you check-in the project to the DesignStream system. A user in the DesignStream system can search house models from the system on the basis of the meta data.
Page Connection Data
- Contact persons
- Fill in the contact person data in the text fields. You can select a contact person from the address book by clicking the Sel button. You can edit the address book by clicking the Edit Address Book button.
Note
- When you export a project to the DesignStream system, the information on the project data card is saved in the DesignStream system as the meta data of the product or project. Transferring information from one system to another has been defined in the PDM keyword group. Exporting a project to the DesignStream system requires the DesignStream Interface add-on feature.
