Trim Piece Snap

Select how to confine the trim piece to the eaves. Select the function from an auxiliary menu.
Snap to upper edge
With this function, the trim piece is confined to the top edge of the eaves. The position of the trim piece with relation to the top edge remains unchanged even if the height of the eaves structure is changed. In the example below, the confining point has been marked with red color. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the structural height of the eaves has been changed.
A = Original structure
B= Increased structure height
C= Decreased structure height
Snap to bottom edge
With this function, the trim piece is confined to the bottom edge of the eaves. The position of the trim piece with relation to the bottom edge remains unchanged even if the height of the eaves structure is changed. In the example below, the confining point has been marked with red color. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the structural height of the eaves has been changed.

The position of the trim piece with relation to the corner point remains unchanged even if the height of the eaves structure is changed. In the example below, the confining point has been marked with red color. The trim piece has been added to the original structure. After that the structural height of the eaves has been changed.
