Edit Framing Properties

Framer, Floor Framing & Rafters

The properties of a framing have been defined in the structure library by using a framing tool. The framing tool determines the design rules based on which the parts are added to the layer. You can edit the framing tool of the base layer of a structure as follows:

  1. Select the structure.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • Select Plane Structure | Framing | Framing Tools.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Framing Tools.
  3. Edit the framing tool.

    Frame - Floor or Ceiling

If the structure has several FRAMING type layers, you can select a layer and then open the framing tool for editing:

  1. Select a structure and a layer of type FRAMING.
