Mark Exceptional Parts
Framer
You can highlight loose parts and parts to be mounted manually as well as overlong, non-updateable or non-standard parts in the model or in the floor plan drawing. Before you add markings, make sure that the parts in question are visible and not inside other parts, for example.
- Activate the model window in which the parts are visible.
- Select Part Marking from the tool strip.
- Select one of the following:
- Mark Loose Parts
- Mark Manual Parts
- Mark Parts Not Updateable
- Mark Oversize Parts. Enter the Limit Length. Parts which are longer than the limit length will be marked.
- Mark Non-standard Parts. Mark non-standard bricks generated with the pattern design tool. Pattern Design Tool is an add-on option of the Vertex BD software.
- Mark Elements in Stacks, Mark Elements not in Stack - You can use 3D panel stacking to create stacks of panels. You can distinguish the panels that belong to the stacks and those that don't in the model by marking them with the color of your choice. Read more about Mark the Stack Panels in the Model.
- Select a marking color for the parts by clicking Select Color.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
The settings are user-specific. You can restore the default settings by clicking Reset Defaults.
Note:
- The default limit length for overlong parts has been defined in the system settings in the BDSXX keyword group with the keyword oversize_piece_lenght_limit.
