Editing a Label Drawing in the Floor Plan Drawing
You can edit the drawing file of a label added to the floor plan drawing as follows:
- Select the label in the basic mode of the program.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Properties. The Label Properties dialog box opens.
- Select Open Label 2D File. The drawing file is opened in a separate drawing window.
- Click OK to close the dialog box.
- Edit the drawing. Add, for example, lines, hatches or text, or edit their properties.
- The contents of the label (prefix and sequential number, for example) are read in the #PRE# text macro.
- If you select the Covering text style, the label hides the hatch in a drawing with hidden lines removed.
- If an add-on option for dimensioning structures is available to you, the calculation label of a part is read in the #CLABEL# text macro.
- Press Ctrl+S to save the drawing.
- Close the drawing window. You will be prompted: "Save changes to the selected label and all the labels in the same group?"
- Select either of the following:
- Yes - The change is updated to all the labels in the floor plan drawing that use the drawing file in question.
- No - All the labels in the floor plan drawing will remain unchanged.
Note:
- The change is building-specific and only applies to the labels that are in the floor plan drawing when the change is made. The drawing file saved in the library remains unchanged.
- If you require the labels to use the original drawing files saved in the library, delete the labels, and re-add them.
- You can edit a drawing file saved in the library by editing the label library.
