Adding a Drawing to a Sheet

Option System

Use this function to add an optionalized drawing, for example an elevation view or a floor plan, on a master set drawing sheet. For example, you can add elevation views of all the different options of the building on the same drawing sheet to create a presentation of the alternative house models.

  1. Select Options | Master Set.
  2. Open a drawing sheet by clicking the Open, New or Copy buttons in the Master Set Drawings database view.

  3. Select Options | Master Set Add Optionalized Drawing on Sheet.
  4. Select one of the following options as the drawing type:
    • Elevation, section and view drawings
    • Floor plan drawing
    • Drawing from drawing archive
    • Drawing from building folder
  5. Select the drawing to be added from the list.
  6. Select the options to be solved from the Select Options list.

  7. Position the drawing on the drawing sheet by selecting a location for the reference point. The default reference point is the drawing origin. Use the functions in the auxiliary menu when positioning the drawing. With the auxiliary functions, it is possible, for example, to change the reference point, to mirror a drawing or to change the drawing scale.

Note:
  • Only the drawing types Elevation, section and view drawings and Floor plan drawings can be created from the optionalized building model. If you selected a drawing from drawing archive or building folder, the drawing is opened with the Windows Open dialog box.
  • You can move the drawings on the drawing sheet with the function Move a Drawing on a Sheet.
