Connect a Modeled Part to Profile

You can connect a modeled part to a profile. The part is visible in the panel drawings. You can create a beam panel from the profile, in which case the part is visible in the beam panel drawing.

  1. Select Modeling | Drafting | Advanced Modeling G4 Part From File.
  2. Select the file.
  3. Position the part to the profile.
  4. Select the part.
  5. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu and select Advanced > Connect to Part.
  6. Click the profile.
