Connect/Disconnect Parts

You can use the function to connect profiles, sheets, or building components to a structure. The structure can be
  • floor, roof or ceiling framing or
  • wall, floor, roof or truss panel.
The parts may be free or they may be connected to another structure, at which point their parent structure will be changed.

You can use the same function to disconnect the parts.

  1. Select a structure and a layer, if necessary.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select Panel | Framing | Connect/Disconnect.
    • Select Plane Structure | Framing | Connect/Disconnect.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Connect/Disconnect Parts.

    If parts have been connected to the structure, they are highlighted in color.

  3. Select the part to be connected/disconnected one by one or use an area selection.
  4. Select Confirm.
