Adding Framing Lines

You can add framing lines of walls to the building's floor plan drawing. The framing lines are added to layer 17. In order to show nothing but the framing lines on the floor plan drawing, you can display only layer 17, or a suitable layer group after generating the framing lines by selecting Select Layers from List from the tool strip. The layer groups and the drawing elements added to them are customer-specific.

  1. Select Classic Wall Framing | Wall Panelizing | Generate Panels Add Panel Framing Lines.
  2. Choose All walls or Selected walls.
  3. If you chose Selected walls, select the walls and select the Confirm function.
  4. Display the layer group that includes the framing lines.
