Deleting Framing Lines

You can delete framing lines of walls from the building's floor plan drawing. Framing lines can be added to the floor plan drawing by using the Add Framing Lines function. In order to show nothing but the framing lines on the floor plan drawing, you can display only layer 17, or a suitable layer group by selecting Select Layers from List from the tool strip. The layer groups and the drawing elements added to them are customer-specific. After you have selected the layer group, the 2D drawing shows only the framing lines of the walls, and any parametric macros added to them, such as beam pockets or extra studs.

  1. Select Classic Wall Framing | Wall Panelizing | Generate Panels Delete Panel Framing Lines.
  2. Choose All walls or Selected walls.
  3. If you chose Selected walls, select the walls by clicking.
