Delete the View Drawing of a Vertical Section

Delete the vertical section definition and the view drawing generated from the definition in the building document browser:
  1. Open the branch Architectural Documents / Sections.
  2. Select the section label. You can select several labels in the following ways:
    • Select the individual documents by holding down the Ctrl key.
    • Select a set of documents:
      1. Click the first document.
      2. Press the Shift key, and click the last document of the set.
  3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  4. Select Delete.

    The program will ask for confirmation: "Do you really want to delete this? View_dwgs/SECT-[label].vxp"

  5. Delete the drawing by selecting Delete.
Note: If the view drawing has been added to a drawing sheet, you are notified of the missing drawing when you open the sheet.
  • When you are using a local archive: "Load reference drawing failed LOCATION=ACTPROJ|file=view_dwgs/[drawing file name]" when you open the drawing sheet.
  • When you are using Vertex Sync: "Could not read file from Sync Workspace. [Building id] view_dwgs/[drawing file name]"
