Check Stack Drawing Status

You can check the status of the stack drawings, and create, update or open the drawings, if necessary.

  1. Do either of the following:
    • Select Output | Panels and trusses | 3D panel stacking > Stack drawings.
    • In the document browser, select the heading Stacking and from the right-click menu Stack drawings.
    Stack drawings dialog box opens.
  2. Check the status of the stack drawings. The status can be one of the following:
    • OK - Drawing exists and it is up to date.
    • Out of date - Drawing exists, but the stack has changed and the drawing has not been updated after that.
    • No drawing - Drawing does not exist.
  3. Select the stacks whose drawing you want to create, update, or open. Click the stacks one by one while holding down the Ctrl key. You can also select a group of stacks in the following way:
    1. Click the first stack.
    2. Press the Shift key, and click the last stack of the set.
  4. Right-click and select one of the following:
    • Open - Open the stack drawing in the workspace.
    • Create - Create the stack drawing. Select a template drawing in the dialog box. The suitable template drawings are highlighted in blue in the dialog box. One of the suitable template drawings is selected by default. Drawings will not be opened in the workspace.
    • Update - Update the stack drawing that is not up to date.
    • Delete -Delete the stack drawing. You will be prompted: "Do you really want to delete this?" Click Delete.
  5. Click Exit to close the dialog box.
Note:
  • The dialog box can be a floating window on the workspace, or you can fix it to the left edge of the workspace with the object tree and the building’s document browser: click the title of the dialog box and drag it over the object tree/document browser.
