Change Diagram Symbol
The PI symbol on the diagram can be replaced in the following ways:
- By adding a new symbol over the old one.
- By changing the symbol classification into the Class field in the device card.
- By changing classifications in the project database Components > Equipments.
If necessary, the program can verify the replacement of the symbol or the replacement can occur automatically.
In the replacement of a symbol, the new symbol inherits the position text and other visible attributes and all attribute data from the old symbol except for the symbol-specific CLASSIFICATION data.
The new symbol binds to the diagram line according to the old symbol if the new symbol is placed on the diagram line.
