Add a Layer

You can add a new layer to the top or bottom surface of a structure or a structural layer.

1. Select a structure and a layer.

2. Select Plane Structure | Layer | Add.
3. Select the layer material from a list:
   • If you have not used the adding function before, the list opens automatically.
   • If you have used the adding function before, the previously selected material is now the default material. If necessary, change the material by first selecting the function Select material from list. The function opens the list.
   • You can copy an existing material by using the function Select material from another area in the auxiliary menu.
4. If necessary, edit the structure layers of the structure by using the function Edit material in the auxiliary menu. Edit the materials in a database view.

5. Click the points of the edge line.
6. Select Confirm.

• You can delete the added layer by editing the structure properties.
